WELCOME TO MANATEE VETERANS VILLAGE

The Manatee GPD Program provides clinical treatment, transitional housing, and individualized case management for Veterans experiencing homelessness in Manatee County, Florida. The program is designed to help Veterans stabilize, rebuild their lives, and prepare for independent living through safe housing, structured support, and access to therapeutic services.

The program assists Veterans in identifying and working toward personal goals related to education, employment, health, entitled benefits, spirituality, relationships, and meaningful community participation. With a focus on housing stability, wellness, and long-term independence, the Manatee GPD Program offers coordinated care and life-skills development tailored to each Veteran’s needs. Through a supportive, goal-oriented environment, Veterans are empowered to achieve successful community reintegration and sustained independent living.

Who can qualify for this program?

  • Must be a Veteran with Honorable, General or Other Discharge
  • Must have had 1 day of active duty
  • Must be homeless or in danger of becoming homeless
  • U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA)

What are the requirements to remain in the program?

  • Remain clean and sober
  • Be engaged in finding permanent housing
  • Attend all medical and behavioral health appointments
  • If applicable, pay program fee monthly
