First anniversary celebration in Palm Bay will bring residents, partners, and
community members together for an evening of food, music, games, and fun
PALM BAY, FL — August 2026 — Volunteers of America of Florida (VOAF) is celebrating the
first anniversary of Space Coast Commons with a community celebration on Tuesday,
August 18, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The Space Coast Commons 1st Birthday celebration will take place at 1981 Convair
Street Southeast, Palm Bay, FL 32909, and will bring residents, partners, and community
members together to recognize one year of creating a place where residents can thrive.
Guests are invited to enjoy an evening filled with food, family-friendly games, music from
a live DJ, and treats from an ice cream truck. The celebration is an opportunity for the
Space Coast Commons community to come together, enjoy time with neighbors, and
celebrate the connections that have helped make the community special during its first
year.

of creating communities where people can feel connected, supported, and empowered to
thrive,” said Janet Stringfellow, President & CEO of Volunteers of America of Florida.

The anniversary celebration reflects VOAF’s ongoing commitment to strengthening
communities throughout Florida by providing housing and supportive services that help
individuals and families build stability and pursue brighter futures.
As Space Coast Commons begins its second year, VOAF looks forward to continuing to
build a stronger, more connected community alongside its residents and community
partners.
