Who We Are
VOA Florida is a faith-based, human service organization that engages Floridians in need, including unhoused Veterans, individuals and families experiencing homelessness, those diagnosed with mental health and cognitive conditions, and vulnerable seniors. Creating positive life changes through housing and supportive services (i.e., behavioral health, case management, and more).
When Volunteers of America was founded, a “volunteer” was someone whose vocation was to serve others through a commitment to a mission. Today, we are still staffed by mission-driven professionals working to support individuals and build thriving communities, only now we call them “employees.”
VOA Florida engages Floridians in need to create positive life changes through compassionate support services.

🌟💙 Be the Reason Someone Believes in GoodnessYou may never know how much a simple act of kindness can mean to someone. Holding the door, offering encouragement, listening without judgment, or making someone feel seen can turn an ordinary day into a meaningful one. 🤝✨At VOA Florida, we see how compassion and human connection can make a difference in the lives of individuals and families. This week, challenge yourself to be intentional with your kindness. You don’t need a special occasion to make someone feel valued. Sometimes, the smallest gesture leaves the biggest impression. 💙Your Monday challenge: Make someone’s day a little brighter, then pass that kindness along!#MotivationMonday #VOAF #HopeInAction #ChooseKindness #MakeADifference
🙏💙 Grace for the Unseen BattlesNot every struggle is visible, and not every prayer is spoken aloud. This Sunday, may we remember that God is present in the quiet moments, the uncertain seasons, and the steps we take toward a better tomorrow. Even when the path feels unclear, His grace can meet us right where we are. ✨📖 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)May your Sunday be filled with peace, and may the week ahead remind you that you never have to carry everything alone.#SundayBlessings #VOAF #FaithAndHope #HopeInAction #SundayPrayer
