The team facilitated emergency accommodation for hotel stays and Red Cross shelter for those affected by the fire, also setting up temporary lodging in the lobby and library for residents preferring to stay close, ensuring everyone had a safe place to sleep for the night. At Creekside Manor, resident *Mr. Thompson had been successfully living independently despite a gradual decline in his health. Favoring his independence, he often refused assistance. Staff regularly schedule health-conscious activities for all residents, such as on-site blood pressure checks. During one of these checks, the team noticed that *Mr. Thompson’s blood pressure spiked to a dangerous level. Thanks to quick action from the team, he was rushed to the hospital for immediate attention.
