About the Pensacola GPD Program for Homeless Veterans

The Pensacola GPD Program for homeless Veterans provides transitional housing, structured case management, and supportive services designed to help Veterans experiencing homelessness in Escambia County achieve stability and independence. The Pensacola GPD Program focuses on providing safe housing, life-skills development, and access to essential behavioral health services to support long-term success.

Participants in the Pensacola GPD Program for homeless Veterans receive individualized care plans that promote recovery, wellness, and readiness for independent living. Rent is income-based to ensure affordability and accessibility for every Veteran served.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Must be a Veteran  with a General, Other or Honorable Discharge
  • Must have had 1 day of active duty
  • Accepts male and female individuals
  • Must be homeless or in danger of becoming homeless
  • U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA)


What are the requirements to remain in the program?

  • Remain clean and sober
  • Be engaged in finding permanent housing
  • Attend all medical and behavioral health appointments
  • If applicable, pay program fee monthly
