WELCOME TO COCOA VETERANS VILLAGE

The Cocoa GPD Program provides transitional housing and supportive services for Veterans experiencing homelessness in Brevard County, Florida. The program is designed to help Veterans stabilize, rebuild their lives, and prepare for independent living through safe housing, structured case management, and individualized support.

With a strong focus on housing stability, wellness, and readiness for independent living, the program offers life-skills development, access to community resources, and coordinated care tailored to each Veteran’s needs. Through a supportive, goal-oriented environment, the Cocoa GPD Program helps Veterans work toward long-term independence and successful reintegration into the community.

Who can qualify for this program?

  • Must be a Veteran  with a General, Other, or Honorable Discharge
  • Must have had 1 day of active duty post-training
  • Accepts male, female, and limited families
  • Must be homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless
  • U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA)

What are the requirements to remain in the program?

  • Remain clean and sober
  • Be engaged in finding permanent housing
  • Attend all medical and behavioral health appointments
  • If applicable, pay program fee monthly
