WELCOME TO LAKE CITY CABINS FOR VETERANS
The Lake City GPD Program provides transitional housing and supportive services for Veterans experiencing homelessness in Columbia County, Florida. The program is designed to help Veterans stabilize, rebuild their lives, and prepare for independent living through safe housing, structured case management, and individualized support.
With a strong focus on housing stability, wellness, and long-term independence, the program offers life-skills development, access to community resources, and coordinated care tailored to each Veteran’s needs. Through a supportive and goal-oriented environment, the Lake City GPD Program helps Veterans work toward successful reintegration into the community and long-term independent living.

Who can qualify for this program?
- Must be a Veteran with General, Other or Honorable Discharge
- Must have had 1 day of active duty
- Accepts male and female individuals
- Must be homeless or in danger of becoming homeless
- U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA)
What are the requirements to remain in the program?
- Remain clean and sober
- Be engaged in finding permanent housing
- Attend all medical and behavioral health appointments
- If applicable, pay program fee monthly
