Punta Gorda Veterans Village provides safe, stable transitional housing and comprehensive supportive services for Veterans experiencing homelessness in Charlotte County, Florida. The program focuses on helping Veterans rebuild their lives through structured housing, case management, life-skills development, and access to behavioral health services. Rent is income-based, ensuring affordability and accessibility for all participants.

With an emphasis on stability, wellness, and preparation for independent living, the program offers individualized support and coordinated care. Veterans receive the tools and resources they need to achieve long-term housing success and improved quality of life.

Who can qualify for this program?

  • Must be a Veteran with General, Other or Honorable Discharge
  • Must have had 1 day of active duty
  • Accepts male and female individuals
  • Must be homeless or in danger of becoming homeless
  • U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA)

What are the requirements to remain in the program?

  • Remain clean and sober
  • Be engaged in finding permanent housing
  • Attend all medical and behavioral health appointments
  • If applicable, pay program fee monthly
