Volunteers of America of Florida to Host ‘Innovare Blessing’ Ceremony

Date: Monday, October 23

Location: Volunteers of America of Florida: Innovare, 850 5th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Time: 9:00 AM

What: Volunteers of America of Florida is embarking on a significant mission to address the alarming affordable housing crisis in Saint Petersburg with their upcoming Innovare project.

Innovare, an ambitious residential development, will house 50 units dedicated to providing affordable housing for those in need. Significantly, half of these units will be specially earmarked for extremely low-income Floridians.

In line with this milestone, a special ‘Innovare Blessing’ ceremony will be held at the construction site. This unique event will include a beloved tradition: the signing and blessing of support beams, followed by prayers for the well-being and success of the future Innovare residents and staff.

Guests are reminded that the event will occur at an active construction site and are advised to dress in long pants and closed-toe shoes. Hard hats will be provided at the site to ensure guest safety.

For more information about the ‘Innovare Blessing’ ceremony, please contact Janet Stringfellow, Volunteers of America of Florida, President/CEO,  jstringfellow@voa-fla.org, Phone: (305)342-3290.
